Austin, Texas locals, Elizabeth and Brent, wanted to celebrate their June nuptials in Elizabeth’s hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. The rich history and old-world charm of the city provided an excellent setting for their traditional wedding, and a wonderful weekend getaway for guests. Their admiration for Austin and Boston paired with the joy of gathering friends and family together in one place served as the focal point for their authentically well-planned wedding.
Guests were received with goodwill through delightful welcome baskets arranged with care by Elizabeth, and complete with vintage Boston city maps and gummy lobster candies, a New England splendor.
Brent and his Groomsmen sported black tie tuxedos, a tried-and-true staple for a classic affair. Bridesmaids wore nude pink chiffon dresses by Watters, the same color her mother’s bridesmaids wore thirty-five years earlier.
Elizabeth and Brent’s ceremony took place in the historic King’s Chapel, an iconic downtown Boston church that predates the American Revolution. Their evening reception was held in the rooftop ballroom at the renowned Omni Parker House, a Historic Downtown Boston Hotel. Elizabeth and Brent chose the Omni Parker House because of its classic flare and accessibility to many of Boston’s notable attractions.
Perhaps the most magnificent detail of their celebration was the pure Boston City backdrop captured in every moment of the day. Elizabeth and Brent allowed the authentic Boston charm to be the primary focal point of their wedding, a detail that was simple, significant, and absolutely breathtaking.
