A Romantic St. Louis City Museum Celebration

The romantic ambiance paired with meaningful details and topped with the fabulous fun flair of the day are just a few reasons why we are head over heals in love with Katie and Mark’s wedding. Katie and Mark planned a clever wedding celebration filled with details that celebrated their own legacy. The theme of the day was simply Katie and Mark and we adore it.

Each detail of the day, from their venue to their table number holders, held significance to Katie and Mark. Katie and Mark initially wanted a barn venue, but were absolutely awestruck when they set sights on the St. Louis City Museum. Mark fell instantly in love with the space, particularly with the classic bank vault centered in the middle of the museum, a unique detail that celebrated his profession. They found the architecture captivating and the perfect representation of their personal legacy.

VGS encourages you to choose a venue that is honest to your legacy as a couple. There are many ways to style a wedding, but the best style is one that reflects you and your fiancé. Look for details that pay tribute to your interests, story, and heritage, just as Katie and Mark did. When the details hold value to your story, the decision becomes quite simple.

VGS loves how Katie and Mark incorporated “fun” to their wedding day. Their day radiated a certain ambiance that was easy and romantic. We love their stop at the local carnival for a few photos, and encourage you to plan time to simply enjoy your special day.

The heritage and legacy inspired details filled Katie and Mark’s reception. The adoring white and gold bunnies that served as table number holders celebrated Marks nickname for Katie, “Bunny”. They paid tribute to Mark’s British heritage by serving Pimm’s Cup, a traditional English cocktail. Katie celebrates her most treasured occasions with Champagne, and tied escort cards to mini Champagne bottles. What a delightful treat!
