Gracious hospitality and Southern elegance were at the heart of Cambron and Elliott’s Charleston wedding. Having grown up in Kentucky and South Carolina, Cambron and Elliott wanted to honor their rich Southern culture by designing a celebration filled with age-old Southern traditions. Their legacy-filled details paired with the opulent romantic ambiance of their authentic South Carolina setting, made for a delightfully charming affair.
In true Southern style, Cambron and Elliott celebrated the long-established tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon, in hopes of being graced with pleasant weather on their wedding day. As old folklore has it, adoring engaged couples will enjoy sunny skies on their wedding day if they bury a full bottle of bourbon, upside-down, at their wedding venue site, precisely one month before they are to be married. Their good deed of bourbon burying paid off as the rain clouds parted moments before Cambron walked down the aisle in her divine blush and white lace gown.
Cambron and Elliott gifted their parents with handkerchiefs adored with personalized messages of thanksgiving and love. These thank you gifts were a timeliness offering of gratitude that will be treasured forever, and will serve as personal heirlooms that can be celebrated in their families for decades to come.
An authentically well-planned wedding can be deigned in many styles. The most significant style is one that celebrates your new legacy as a married couple. Cambron and Elliott’s wedding was elegantly unique to their story. They planned their day centered on ensuring their guests would be received with goodwill, in a romantic setting that was significant to their sweet Southern roots. Cheers to a fine marriage, Cambron and Elliott!
