Art Deco + New Years Eve Inspired Anniversary Shoot

Fine Marriage, Well-PlannedLauren

If you ask us, having an anniversary photo session is always a good idea. Pair it together with a glamorous Art Deco setting on New Years Eve, and you have us head over heals in love. Christine and Jeff’s Great Gatsby and New Years Eve themed anniversary shoot was full of glamorous details, and serves as an inspiring way to celebrate the excitement of a new year in your marriage.

Christine, owner, stylist, and planner behind Alexander Event Co., marvelously designed the anniversary shoot in only 48 hours, after Jeff surprised her with the shoot as an early Christmas gift. Christine works endlessly throughout the year to design extraordinary events for so many people, and for Jeff, surprising Christine with an anniversary photo shoot was the perfect way to give back and allow her to enjoy that same bliss. Swoon!

Christine and Jeff’s dazzling NYE anniversary shoot has inspired us to share our tips for celebrating the New Year in your marriage, which will be featured soon VGS. Cheers to 2017, friends!

A Letter from Alexander Event Co.

My husband, Jeff, surprised me with a photo shoot with one of my very favorite photographers, Chelsea Q. White, as an early Christmas present and a New Year's Eve theme was perfect to celebrate the wonderful year we just had. Plus, the beautiful T&P Station in Fort Worth was practically screaming for a NYE shoot with it's art deco architecture, big clocks and gold details. It's such a classic and elegant building- when you're in there you can just picture the glamourous train passengers that passed through that waiting room in the 1930s. We had to do it justice by dressing up and I may wear this Nordstrom dress every New Year's from here on out. I used a few things I had around our apartment as props but I was really trying to keep the shoot simple and just fun. However, the wedding planner in me couldn't help but make a giant "cheers" sign.  It was a great sentiment to express all of the hope and excitement we had for the year ahead and all of the adventure awaiting us!
