The New VGS: What’s Changing & What You Need to Know

Notes From VGSLauren

Friends!

It’s a thrill to be back in VGS action, and up and running on a newly revamped website with a fresh new look. Who’s loving it?! I wanted to take a minute to personally THANK each and every one of you, the adoring VGS Readers, for the support, understanding, loyalty, and love that you have so generously shared during the recent re-launch of VGS. You have filled my heart with encouragement that all this hard work and dedication to cultivating purposeful beginnings to sweet new marriages MATTERS. I am grateful!

So, what happens now?! Here are a few changes that you can expect from VGS moving forward.

QUALITY VS. QUANTITY

You may have noticed there hasn’t been quite as much happening around here, even after the re-launch. My sabbatical opened my eyes to the realization that a process change was desperately needed, perhaps even more so than the blog’s style updates (that’s saying something!). The new goal is to focus on sharing less, but more. Blogging fewer real wedding and couple features, but ensuring that each story is told well and is true to the VGS heart.

TIPS & GUIDES

Keeping it line with the focus on quality theme, you will notice more blogs dedicated to providing tips and guides. Each tip and guide post will serve as inspiration for planning a thoughtful wedding and meaningful start to your marriage. The list is bursting at the seams, and I cannot wait to begin!

NEWLYWED & LIFESTYLE INSPIRATION

Getting married is only one small piece to your newlywed adventure- it’s time to inspire you in all aspects of your newlywed life. Be on the lookout for fresh new lifestyle features, dedicated to helping you cultivate a purposeful married life.

NEW FOR FEATURED VENDORS

You and your partnership keeps this blog and mission alive. Thank you, thank you for continuing to entrust your hard work to be shared here, on VGS. I appreciate you!

Be sure to check out the new Submission details here, and the new Submission Form here. It is important that you find the submission process to be stress-free and simple, and because of that, I’m happy to continue to accept submissions in whatever way is most convenient for you.

Thank you again, Friends, and welcome to the new VGS!

With gratitude & excitement,

Lauren
